Situated on the most pristine beach of the Indian Ocean, Chalix spreads over Machangulo’s largest private plot.

3 guest houses, each including 2 double bedrooms and bathrooms, surround the main house where we meet, rest, chill and enjoy our cook’s delicious preparations. A 17m long swimming pool will provide freshness and sport for those too lazy to enjoy bliss of the ocean.

Build entirely in mahogany, Chalix provides views of the ocean from everyone of its diverse spots. Just 15m above sea level, you will be ideally positioned to spot turtles, whales and dolphins.

Sophistication is in every detail: from amazingly comfortable beds to beautiful table setting, you will enjoy every bit of it.

On the hill top behind the house is an open wooden gazebo offering stunning views on the bush and sunset. Another perfect retreat to enjoy a book with a cup of tea or delicious cocktails brought by the staff.
